Default backgrout login image changing:

First, a check is made to determine if the customization functionality is enabled or not.

A DWORD value named OEM Background in:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background

Behavior is turned on with 1 for enabled, 0 for disabled. This value may not exist by default, depending on your system.

This is an OEM feature and images are in:

%windir%\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds

This folder may not exist by default. Images must be less than 256kb in size.

Turn hibernate on/off on Windows 7

powercfg -h

turns hibernate off and removes the .fil file from the root directory. (+h = on)
